Oh, The Memories
Milo and Otis
Rated: G
Genre: Family
Milo and Otis is my all time favorite kids movie. This movie can never fail to make me feel better, and I do own a copy, and watch it whenever I need to be cheered up. The story is about a cat (Milo) who is so curious that he ends up getting swept down the local river in a box!!! His friend, a dog, (Otis) must rescue Milo and bring him back to the farm which is their home. It's live action with real animals, and actors do the voices, which are dubbed over the footage. There are so many cute baby animals, and silly little voices and songs in this movie. The scenery is really beautiful as well! All in all, Milo and Otis is always one of my top picks for classic kids movies.

Edward Scissorhands
Rated: PG13
Genre: Horror
I used to love this movie! I still do. I have probably seen it a million times. Johnny Depp plays a lot of interesting roles, and this movie's no exception.

jo's comment: Agreed, Edward Scissorhands is probably one of my favorite characters.
Winnie The Pooh
Rated: G
Genre: Animated
I used to be obsessed with Winnie the Pooh. I still have a stuffed animal of him. I'm pretty sure the one I really loved was the Great Adventure where he has to go through obstacles with his friends to save Christopher Robin from school... which in the movie is evil or something. I don't watch it any more... but I'm sure it would be great for little kids.
Hit or Miss?
Smart People
Rated: R
Genre: Comedy-Drama
My boyfriend and I were so excited to see our first official rated R movie in theatres because now we are both 17! Smart people looked so good... not
the movie sucked so bad that I found myself searching for a remote through the entire duration in an attempt to fast forward through the show. It was boring and one of those movies where once you have seen the previews for it on TV, you pretty much know the entire show already... skip it!

jo's comment: I saw this movie too because I love Ellen Page. It's definitely way too long, but I really liked Ellen Page in it.
Next Time On Movie Watch
jo's comment: Some of the most popular movies are about high school, and while Hollywood may not portray it very accurately, we all love to watch them! Send in your favorite movies about high school today!
Hello world, I'm jo. I'm eighteen and am a sophomore at my local community college, trying to get a bunch of credits done before I transfer to (hopefully) the University of Washington. I'm kind of bubbly, kind of ditzy, and kind of obsessed with movies. I love making random short films with my friends, painting, bugging my sisters with my horrible guitar-playing, and eating at the local 24 hour restaurant at one o'clock in the morning.
jo's comment: This week we're talking about the movies that you remember from your childhoods. The movie that I remember the most clearly is The Rescuers. I watched this movie so many times that I actually broke the tape! I haven't seen it in quite a while, but I absolutely loved it when I was younger. It's about a couple of mice who have to find a priceless diamond before some evil villains do. I don't think I'd love it as much as I did then, but I know I wasted many hours of my childhood watching it.
