New Gadget on Decor Room!!!
Hey everyone! We have a new little gadget in the submission form for Decor Room. Now you guys can send in pictures of your rooms! I'm sure this will make it much easier for you guys to explain what your rooms look like.
How do you use it? It's very easy, hit the browse button, and it will show you your documents, choose the picture you want to send in, choose OK, and then hit the submit button! Easy huh?
All pictures that you send must be Purple-PJ's friendly. That means that if something in the picture could offend someone, I can't use it.
This is a great tool to have for Decor Room, and I hope that you guys will enjoy using it. There will also be a GREAT opportunity to use it as Decor Room will be having a contest. See the details below for more.

More on Teen Rooms
My room isn't exactly the typical "teen" room either. It USED to be brown paneling on the walls, with a white ceiling, and a grey concrete floor. After I moved in there, I got ahold of some spraypaint and tagged EVERYTHING. The walls, the floor, the ceiling.. note that I wasn't exactly Little Miss Sunshine at the time. Last year, I changed who I was completely. I stopped being as shy as I usually am, and I completely left behind who I was 2 years ago. Also, I painted ALL of my walls white, until I ran out of white paint. I couldn't quite reach the 6 inches of wall before the ceiling with the white anyways (since 5 feet even is SO tall), so I stood on a chair and painted a red border around my room. I also painted my only window 
Now, my room has color EVERYWHERE, except it's not painted. I've got 2 tye-dyed tapestries up, Tapestries with butterflies, the sun and moon, The Grateful Dead logos "Steal Your Face" and "Bertha", and on the floor, I have a tiger-striped blanket for a rug. MUCH more effective than the rug I spraypainted on my floor. AND it smells like coconuts and pineapples and mangos in there, when I'm not burning my incense. :]

To say all teen rooms (and by "teen" I mean teen girls) are pink, girly, fun, covered in boy band posters, messy and tacky equates to saying all teens are girly, like pink, obsess over boy bands, can't clean and like all that is tacky. That stereotype is obviously and simply not true. " - Rita... ok hun. you just described my room up there.

I'm Truffles, I'm 14 years old and I love PPJs. I've been visiting PPJs for about 2 years and I jumped at the chance to be an editor. My interests include art design, reading, surfing the net, and rollerskating. My greatest love is singing, and I do that very often. I enjoy singing and dancing and are a part of my school's show choir. I'm an aunt to 2 boys and 1 girl and they take up a lot of my free time. I'm an honors student in school and I'm in 8th grade this year (yay). I have to take Geometry at the high school though and it's fun, but hard. Umm yeah, my life is pretty boring, but PPJs has changed that and I love being a columnist!
Truffles's comment: I'm guessing you want some advice right? Well, if you like the color orange (which I love too!) , try to incorporate it into the color scheme of the room. To find cheap stuff, look in discount stores and thrift shops. Ikea has some pretty good prices, even online. To find a nice desk, I'd recommend one that has enough space for a lamp, computer, and still enough room to do homework. If you want it to have some space to hold stuff, try finding one with drawers and shelves. Look around for bargain buys, and even if it's not in the newest condition, you can still refurbish it. Good luck with your room and send pictures in once you're done!
