Please select the pages you are interested in and describe in the form what makes you qualified for these specific pages so that if there is a sudden opening you will be considered. Before you scroll down to the application it is strongly recommended that you read the following application guidelines:
- Use perfect grammar and spelling in your application! If your spelling and grammar are not perfect it is very unlikely that you will be selected to be a columnist. Good grammar and spelling are required for the job!
- Select only the pages you are truly interested in for your application and be sure to explain why you are a good fit for the page. The more details you give the more likely you will be selected if an opening comes up.
- Make sure that you give an email address that you check at least every five days. Offers to new columnists are only good for five days once they are emailed off.
- Applications are kept on file for six months. Not being selected in six months does not mean that you are not qualified, it just means that there may not have been any openings for the positions you applied for. You are encouraged to be persistent and apply every six months. This also gives you a chance to submit a new application perhaps highlighting new developments in your life that make you even more qualified.
- If there is an opening for a page that you have not selected on your application but that we still feel you are qualified and a strong applicant for, you may be offered that page.
- If you have your own idea for a new page, submit it! If it's a good idea, we'll pick it up and you'll be the top choice for columnist!
